UX Pros

On this project, I designed and built the full product: the Automaate.io marketing website and the AI-powered sales calculator platform. I led product thinking, visual design, and front-end development using Cursor with Claude, collapsing the design-to-build process into a single workflow and shipping a production tool used by field sales reps in live client meetings.

Field sales reps were pitching complex AI automation packages from memory, calculating pricing on the fly, and chasing payments after the fact. Every one of those gaps was costing deals.

Automaate sells tiered AI automation services to local businesses, from reputation management and voice AI to full system packages with chatbots, appointment bots, and outbound call automation. The sales process was entirely rep-dependent. Pricing lived in spreadsheets, objection handling relied on memory, and payment collection happened days after the conversation. The tool needed to bring the entire close into a single session without slowing the rep down mid-pitch.

User experience focus

The core design challenge was building a tool that made a rep sharper in the room, not one they had to think about operating while managing a live conversation.

Every interaction had to work under pressure. Package selection needed to be instant. The ROI calculator had to show a prospect their break-even appointments and missed monthly revenue in real time, with no manual math. The AI assistant panel was scoped specifically to stay in context: it knows the current quote, the current client, and every service on the menu, so it can handle objections, recommend packages, and answer pricing questions without the rep leaving the screen. The visual design used a dark, high-contrast UI to stay readable in any lighting environment a field rep might find themselves in.

How it was built

Figma set the visual direction. Cursor and Claude built it. The gap between design and working product was measured in hours, not sprints.

This project was designed and built in Cursor using Claude as the coding engine, collapsing the design-to-development handoff entirely. Figma established the visual direction and component structure. Cursor translated it into a vanilla HTML and JavaScript application deployed on Vercel, with a Node.js API layer handling integrations with Stripe for payment link generation and GoHighLevel for meeting scheduling and client data. The embedded AI assistant runs on the Anthropic API, injected with live quote and client context at runtime so it can assist with objection handling, package recommendations, and pricing questions mid-pitch. The Automaate.io marketing website was designed and built as part of the same engagement, covering brand identity, messaging architecture, and full responsive implementation.

Project result

A production sales tool that closes deals in the room, from first quote to signed payment link, without a single post-call follow-up step.

Field reps now walk into a client meeting with a tool that handles everything. They build a custom quote, show the prospect exactly how many appointments they need to break even and how much revenue they are losing to missed calls each month, get AI-assisted responses to objections mid-pitch, schedule a follow-up meeting, and send a Stripe payment link by email or text, all before leaving the table. The tool did not improve the sales process. It replaced it.
