UX PROS

UX Pros

I designed this project end to end, from initial concept through final screens.

The challenge was designing for two completely different audiences, employees managing personal wellness benefits, and administrators managing site content and user access, within one cohesive system.

Rogers-O'Brien needed a Wellness Portal that felt approachable and personal for employees navigating health screenings and physical exam requirements, alongside a robust CMS for managing the public-facing site, media, and user accounts. Both needed to reflect the same brand, but serve very different needs.

User experience focus

The core challenge was making compliance-driven tasks, biometric screenings, physical exams, document uploads, feel encouraging rather than bureaucratic.

The Wellness Portal walks employees through scheduling a biometric screening, confirming results, completing a physical exam, and uploading supporting documents, all tied to insurance premium discounts. Every step needed clear status indicators and progress tracking, with a tone that felt like a benefit being unlocked rather than a form being filed.

Project research

On the administrative side, we focused on giving non-technical staff full control over the site's content and users without needing developer support.

The CMS dashboard needed to surface notifications and release notes clearly, while the user management system needed straightforward tools for adding, editing, searching, and removing users and their permissions. The goal was a system administrators could run confidently on their own.

Project result

We designed the complete Wellness Portal, the public site's media and content pages, and the internal CMS and user management tools.

The result is a full digital ecosystem: an employee-facing Wellness Portal with screening, exam, and document workflows, a content-rich media section with news, blog, and employee spotlight templates, and an administrative CMS covering dashboards, notifications, and complete user management with search, sort, and edit capabilities.
