WE ARE AVAILABLE FOR JULY PROJECTS
UX and ecommerce design for Dripto, a crypto-based marketplace for buying and selling sneakers
and streetwear. We designed every page of the platform, from product discovery through crypto checkout, for a generation
of users who expect ecommerce to feel as fast and native as the apps they already use.
The challenge wasn't just building an ecommerce site, it was making cryptocurrency payments feel as familiar and trustworthy as a credit card checkout.
Sneaker and streetwear buyers are used to fast, frictionless ecommerce. Adding crypto into that flow meant the payment experience couldn't feel like a detour into unfamiliar territory. Every screen needed to balance the culture of the sneaker resale world with the trust signals crypto transactions require.
User experience focus
The core challenge was designing a marketplace that felt as polished as mainstream ecommerce while being built natively around crypto from the ground up.
From product listings to checkout, every page needed to support a marketplace model, multiple sellers, product variants, pricing in crypto, and a buying experience that didn't ask users to think differently just because the payment rail was different.
Project research
We looked at how sneaker marketplace users browse, compare, and decide, and designed around the moments where crypto checkout could introduce friction or doubt.
The research focus was on trust and clarity at the point of payment. Crypto-native users expect transparency, while mainstream users need reassurance. The design had to serve both without compromising on speed or feel.
Project result
We designed every page of the platform, from homepage and product discovery through cart, checkout, and order confirmation, as a complete, cohesive ecommerce experience.
The result is a full marketplace UX built for a crypto-native audience, covering product browsing, listings, seller pages, cart, and crypto checkout, all designed to feel as fast and intuitive as the best mainstream ecommerce platforms while staying true to the culture of the sneaker and streetwear community.
